Nominating & Governance Update: The Current Agenda for Boards

The NACD Philadelphia chapter presented a very special panel discussion focused on director recruitment and board governance. Designed for both current and aspiring directors, this in-person program reviewed the current state of corporate board composition and recruiting, along with director evaluations and compensation. The panel also discussed their advice for working with search firms, tips on landing that first (or second, or third) board seat, and best practices for ongoing board governance. Attendees had the opportunity for Q&A and networking.

Moderated by Aileen Alexander, CEO of DSG Global, the panel included the following experts:

• David Chun, Founder and CEO of Equilar, a leading provider of corporate leadership data solutions. • Megan Shattuck, Global Managing Partner of DSG Global’s corporate practice. Megan has conducted hundreds of board director and executive search assignments and has deep expertise in company transformation, board advisory, and corporate governance.
