• Evaluate the board’s role in shaping and assessing pivotal paths to value realization—including continued independent growth, financing, partnership, an IPO, a business combination, or another strategic transition—while maintaining independent judgment as those paths are weighed.

• Identify the governance choices that preserve optionality and enable the company to realize and deliver value as strategic, capital-markets, and operating conditions evolve.
