On Monday, November 4, several of the issues our panel will discuss include:
- Preparing employees to consider and work with AI/robotics as “co-pilots,” not “auto-pilots”.
- Retaining employees by providing upward and lateral opportunities for them so that they don’t migrate to other firms.
- Up-skilling and re-skilling employees to make the company more competitive with its domestic and foreign counterparts.
- Developing a plan for where (onsite/remotely) and how many hours (per day/week) employees work to optimize company productivity and employee flexibility.
- Establishing a company culture that is attuned and responsive to employees’ current needs and longer-term objectives, including their motivation and mental health.
- How should the Workforce Strategy be developed and implemented, given the current uncertainties and unforeseeable changes pertaining to these and related topics? What role should the Board play in approving and monitoring the Company’s Workforce Strategy?
