The 2025 NACD Blue Ribbon Commission report, Building a High-Trust Board-CEO Relationship, calls on boards and CEOs to invest in their relationship with greater intentionality and purpose. Join members of the 2025 Commission to explore how to apply the report’s recommendations to strengthen alignment, resilience, and strategic value.

For more than three decades, NACD has convened directors, CEOs, and governance experts to tackle critical issues and develop practical guidance. This year’s 25-member Commission examined the complexities of the board-CEO relationship amid an evolving landscape that is putting increasing pressures and demands on this critical partnership. The report offers nine actionable recommendations, tailored to both boards and CEOs, and a suite of practical tools to support their implementation.

This session equips directors with practical insights to put the 2025 BRC recommendations into practice and enhance board-CEO collaboration.

NACD Credits

NACD will award 1 NACD credit toward achieving and maintaining NACD Directorship Certification® and NACD Board Leadership Fellowship for in-person attendance. Credits will be applied after the event based on attendees' overall session attendance.

NASBA Continuing Professional Education (CPE)

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits (i.e., Certified Public Accountants (CPAs)) are available. NACD is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.NASBARegistry.org.
