About The Event
On May 28, corporate directors, senior executives, and governance professionals gathered at The Summit Club in Tulsa for an insightful dinner and interactive discussion on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Led by Grant Thornton’s expert Shawn Stewart, attendees explored how directors can drive value by actively engaging with management to define strategic objectives and assess risks that could impact desired outcomes.
Shawn shared valuable insights into the common pitfalls of ERM implementation—such as costly software, complex calculations, and poor adoption rates—and outlined practical approaches for building risk capabilities incrementally. Participants gained a deeper understanding of how to support management in developing a risk-aware culture and embedding effective ERM practices that align with overall business strategy.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for a productive evening of knowledge sharing and strategic discussion. We look forward to continuing these important conversations around effective risk management and governance!
