AI is no longer a future concept—it’s actively reshaping how organizations operate, compete, and grow.
Join NACD Florida at the University of Miami’s Newman Alumni Center for an interactive program designed by and for directors. This session begins with a facilitated peer exchange, where directors will share real-world experiences with AI—what’s working, where boards are struggling, and how governance practices are evolving.
Building on these insights, the program will transition into a panel discussion featuring June Yee Felix and Cori Lathan. The panel will react to themes surfaced in the room and explore the practical implications of AI for strategy, oversight, and risk.
A hosted lunch will follow, offering additional time to deepen connections and continue the conversation with peers from across Florida.
Sponsored by Meridian Compensation Partners, this program blends peer learning with expert perspective—equipping directors with actionable insights on governance, ethics, and decision-making in an increasingly AI-driven world.
Learning Outcomes
Assess AI’s impact on strategy and operations, identify key AI governance challenges, share peer approaches to AI oversight, evaluate AI-related risks and board accountability, explore best practices for boardroom integration, understand ethical and responsible AI governance.
