The reliable operation of the U.S. power grid underpins every sector of our economy, yet for many years it has remained largely invisible to businesses and boardrooms alike. That is rapidly changing. We are approaching a perfect storm in which surging demand is poised to outpace supply, exposing vulnerabilities that can no longer be ignored. Emerging technologies, climate-driven disruptions, supply chain constraints, and the growing complexity of an aging grid are converging to place unprecedented strain on our energy infrastructure.
Businesses and their boards must have a clear understanding of the current state of the electric grid and the risks it presents in order to manage risk, protect long-term enterprise value and drive the success of the firm. This panel of industry experts will examine the evolving energy landscape, unpack the most pressing challenges facing the grid, and outline the strategic actions Directors must consider to ensure resilience, continuity, and sustained business performance.
