AI is rapidly moving from a topic of experimentation to a true boardroom priority. In the last 12 to 18 months, advances in AI capabilities, accessibility, and enterprise adoption have raised the stakes for directors. Boards are now being asked not only to oversee AI-related risks, but also to understand how these tools can strengthen decision-making, improve efficiency, and help organizations compete more effectively.
In this virtual discussion, panelists will explore how boards are beginning to use AI in practical ways, from improving meeting preparation and information synthesis to supporting scenario analysis and richer board dialogue. The conversation will also spotlight emerging tools directors can use personally and through board platforms, while addressing critical governance questions around confidentiality, data privacy, oversight, and responsible use. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of where AI can create meaningful value in the boardroom today, what strong AI governance looks like, and what will distinguish high-performing boards in the years ahead.
Co-hosted by NACD Florida, New Jersey, Texas TriCities, and Utah chapters.
