The Dynamic Board: Pivoting to Meet Today’s Challenges

Through peer discussion, attendees gained insight into how dynamic boards—across both public and private companies—are evolving their governance practices, committee structures, and operating cadence to remain effective. The conversation highlighted how boards are strengthening oversight of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies, while also reassessing how responsibilities are distributed across committees.

Participants also considered the skills and experiences most critical in new director appointments, as well as practical approaches to ongoing director education to ensure boards remain current in a rapidly shifting landscape.
