In a 2025 survey, 84% of US C-suite executives reported that their organization had experienced a cybersecurity incident in the last three years, and about the same percentage said they expect their organization’s cybersecurity focus will increase over the next year compared with today. A growing number of companies have made tabletop exercises (TTXs) part of their cyber-defense strategies, and more and more boards are getting involved. What’s the difference between a cyber simulation and a tabletop exercise? How have these exercises been evolving to keep pace with changes in the threat environment and the rise of AI? What sets great TTXs apart from the average, and how can board members and management teams measure effectiveness? Join fellow directors and cybersecurity practitioners to explore these questions and more, and bring back practical takeaways for your next board meeting.
