Culture Check:

This session will explore how boards - public, private, and nonprofit can effectively assess and oversee organizational culture.  Inspired by the 2023 NACD Blue Ribbon Commission Report on Culture as the Foundation, we will focus on turning culture from a buzzword into a measurable, governable asset that directly impacts strategy, risk, and performance. 

Participants should leave with: 

• A clearer understanding of what culture oversight really entails
• Practical tools for monitoring culture, from engagement data to board evaluations
• Sample questions directors should be asking leadership to uncover cultural strengths and risks
• Insights into how boardroom dynamics themselves reflect and influence culture.

The Zoom details will be sent to the email address registrants used to register, a few days before the event.

Terms & Conditions

PLEASE NOTE: Cancellations received via email at least 3 business days from the event will be granted a refund, less a 20% administrative fee. Cancellations received after the cut-off date (3 days prior to) are not eligible for a refund. However, registrations can be transferred without penalty to another representative from the same company for the same event, with advanced notification to organizers. Suppose the replacement representative is not a member of the association. In that case, the firm will be responsible to pay the difference between the member vs. non-member rate (this will vary depending on the event).

Picture/Video Policy: Registration implies consent that any pictures or video taken during the event can be used for promotional purposes. NACD Three Rivers is able to use your likeness without remuneration.
