On October 22, 2025, the NACD Three Rivers Chapter proudly hosted its sixth annual Future of Board Leadership Symposium, an exclusive gathering of CEOs, board directors, governance experts, and thought leaders from across the country.
The evening opened with an engaging discussion on the newly released NACD Blue Ribbon Commission Report, exploring the evolving dynamics between boards and CEOs. Panelists shared actionable insights on building and maintaining high-trust relationships between leadership and governance, featuring perspectives from Community Bank’s President & CEO.
In the second session, a panel of energy experts examined the future of energy leadership in the region and beyond, emphasizing how boards can navigate emerging opportunities and challenges in this rapidly changing sector.
The symposium concluded with a captivating keynote from Peter Mulford, who took attendees on a thought-provoking 40-minute journey through the transformative power of artificial intelligence and its growing implications for boards and corporate strategy.
The NACD Three Rivers Chapter was also honored to recognize Community Bank with the 2025 Excellence in Board Leadership Award, celebrating its outstanding commitment to strong governance and board stewardship.
