Yvonne Schlaeppi

Director, AstroNova, Inc. & Managing Partner, Stratevise LLC

Yvonne Schlaeppi has been an independent public and private company director in the US and Europe for more than ten years. She is Nominating and Governance Committee Chair and a member of the Audit Committee of AstroNova, Inc. (NASDAQ ALOT) since 2018, a company applying data visualization and printing technologies to products for the packaging, aerospace, and defense markets globally. Yvonne served on the boards of Stallergenes Greer plc (Euronext Paris STAGR), a global biopharmaceutical company based in London, UK, developing and selling allergy immunotherapy products, from 2016 through taking the company private in 2019; Greer Labs, Inc., a private equity portfolio company in the US in biological extracts from 2014-2015; and OpGen, Inc. (NASDAQ OPGN), a molecular diagnostics and informatics company combating bacterial infections and optimizing the development and use of antibiotics, from 2022 through its sale in 2024.

Currently, Yvonne is managing partner and cofounder of Stratevise, an international transaction advisory firm, and an advisor to private equity in the US and Europe. Her non-profit work includes serving since 2015 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital on the External Advisory Council for the Channing Division of Network Medicine (early stage chronic disease research).

Yvonne has been an operating executive in diverse, international businesses, with substantial experience working outside the US. She was General Counsel at three global groups: Organon BioSciences (pharmaceuticals, animal health and biotech); Global Enterprise Technologies Passport & ID (security credentialing); and Johnson Controls Europe (industrial manufacturing). In addition, Yvonne was Partner and Chair of the International Practice Group at the law firm Palmer & Dodge in Boston. She began her career in New York and Zurich.

Yvonne is a frequent speaker on M&A, international growth, strategy and decision making in the boardroom in the face of disruption and intense change, and corporate governance. Yvonne was a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Board Leadership Fellow from 2017-2022 and is NACD Directorship Certified® since 2022.

Yvonne is a graduate of Princeton University (the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs) and earned her JD at Columbia University.
