Samantha is a member of the Board of Directors for Claire’s, a global $1B+ PE-owned specialty designer, retailer, and distributor of jewelry and accessories. She serves as Chair of the Nomination, Governance & ESG Committee and is a Member of the Audit Committee, advising as the company continues its transformation from traditional retail to an omnichannel model. Samantha has built a reputation for strategizing, planning, and leading the execution of successful business transformations. Throughout her 25+ year career across toys, entertainment, fashion, and retail industries, Samantha has led multi-billion-dollar global brand portfolios at Fortune 500 companies, most recently at Foot Locker Inc. where she was EVP & Chief Customer Officer, leading a pivotal transition for the company. Prior to that, Samantha spent 20 years at Hasbro rising to President of Branded Entertainment. During that time, she helped prove Hasbro’s growth blueprint playing a pivotal role in the company’s transformation beyond toys leading the company’s foray into entertainment with the first Transformers live-action film and developing strategic partnerships with companies such as Disney and Universal. She recently founded Playworks! to enable leaders in any industry to experience the power of play to realize big goals and envision change.
