Matt Saner is a global security leader at AWS helping their largest and most complex enterprise customers transform complex security challenges into strategic business advantages. He plays a key role in the development of global security standards for AI, including serving on the project governing board and executive steering committee for the Coalition for Secure AI (CoSAI) and as a distinguished review board member for OWASP’s GenAI and Agentic AI security projects—as well as a contributor to NIST. Locally, he has served over 10 years as a member of his community’s school board and park board. Prior to joining AWS in 2021, Saner spent nearly two decades in the highly regulated financial services sector. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is a private pilot who finds fulfillment exploring the skies through general aviation.
