Mark Elsner joined the World Economic Forum in 2024. Previously, he spent over 20 years at Oxford Analytica, most recently as Director of Advisory. Mark has broad cross-sectoral experience, having led engagements for, and developed relationships with, many of the world’s largest companies, as well as governments and multilateral organizations. Areas of focus include advising corporate clients on managing risk and assisting investors in evaluating new opportunities. Mark now lives in Geneva and was previously based with Oxford Analytica in Oxford, Washington, DC, and Panama City. Prior to joining the firm, Mark worked as a strategy consultant in Paris, Berlin and London. He holds an MPhil in Economics and a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, both from Christ Church, University of Oxford.
