Lisa joined McGriff ERA with more than eight years of legal experience. Prior to joining McGriff, she served as a litigation and trial practice attorney with the Atlanta office of the law firm Alston + Bird LLP.  While at Alston + Bird, Lisa counseled clients and litigated claims in the areas of commercial litigation, government contracts, government investigations, and health care, among others.

Lisa leverages her legal training and litigation experience to advocate for and assist McGriff’s clients in achieving timely and maximum recoveries available through the performance of their insurance contracts, as well as provide advice and insight to clients regarding coverage and claim issues that arise.

Lisa specializes in lines of business such as Cyber, Representations and Warranties, E&O, Commercial Crime, D&O, Fiduciary and EPL. She has established close working relationships with her clients’ risk management teams, in-house and outside counsel, carrier partners, monitoring and coverage counsel, as well as McGriff’s Claims Counsel.

In additional to her professional pursuits, Lisa currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society’s (PLUS) Southeast Chapter Board.

Lisa received a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, graduating with honors, and a B.A. from Duke University where she majored in Public Policy Studies.
