

Karen M. Golz
Director, Analog Devices, Inc.; Aspen Technology, Inc.; iROBOT Corporation
Karen is a board member and Chair of the Audit Committees of Analog Devices, Inc. and iROBOT Corporation and was previously Chair of the Audit Committee of Aspen Technology, Inc. prior to its successful sale to Emerson Electric earlier in 2025. She is a senior advisor to The Boston Consulting Group’s Audit and Risk Committee. Karen is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow, holds the NACD Cyber CERT certification from Carnegie Mellon Software Institute, was named by Women Inc magazine a 2019 Most Influential Corporate Director and previously participated in Catalyst’s Women On Board program. Karen also serves on the Center For Audit Quality’s Audit Committee Council. She is also a board member of the University of Illinois Foundation where she is Chair-Elect.
Previously, Karen was a senior leader and Global Vice Chair of Ernst & Young (EY), a global professional services firm with revenues of $31.4 billion where she led the global professional practice and independence groups for a number of years. She is a solutions-oriented leader with on-the-ground international experience in Europe and Asia. She has worked with large organizations and early-stage high-growth companies on issues in accounting, auditing, financial and corporate reporting, internal control, regulatory, risk, securities registrations, initial public offerings and ethics matters. Karen is a CPA and qualifies as a financial expert.
Karen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with Highest Honors and was a Bronze Tablet Scholar of the university. In 2017, she was named the Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Illinois, Gies College of Business. She previously served on the Financial Stability Board’s, established by the G20 in April 2009, Enhanced Disclosure Task Force (EDTF) as Chair of the Market Risk Workstream.
Karen resides in New Hampshire.
