Heather Hiles has a 30-year track record of creating solutions to large scale problems. Along the way, Hiles has built expertise in tech, business models, learning, talent development and improved millions of lives. Hiles has founded several organizations including: Imminent Equity, Black Ops Ventures, Calbright College, Pathbrite Portfolios, Hiles Group Philanthropic Advising, SFWorks, and EARN. Heather also served as Communications Director for the Gavin Newsom for Mayor campaign and Hiles gained investment experience working at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Hiles was among the women named in the inaugural Forbes 50 Over 50 Impact List in 2021. Heather holds the distinction from 2012-2018 of being the Black woman to have raised the most venture capital and have the biggest exit.”¯ Currently, Heather is Managing Partner of Imminent Equity, a tech-driven private equity fund, and serves on the Boards of Udemy and Luminary Media. She is also the chair of Black Girls Code.
