David Miller is a retired CEO with extensive leadership experience in the financial services and insurance industries. He currently serves as Chairman of J.G. Wentworth and sits on several corporate and nonprofit boards, including Philabundance.

From January 2009 to July 2014, Mr. Miller served as Chief Executive Officer of JGWPT Holdings, LLC (J.G. Wentworth, LLC).   Prior to joining J.G. Wentworth, he held a series of senior executive roles, including at ACE Group, Kemper Auto and Home Insurance, Providian Direct Insurance, and Progressive Insurance.

In addition to his current chairmanship at J.G. Wentworth,  Miller serves on the boards of several organizations, including:

• Ellington Credit Company (NYSE: EARN) – Audit Committee member and Compensation Committee Chair (since 2013)
• Everstory – Chair, Compensation, Nominations & Governance Committee; member, Trust Investment and Audit Committees (since 2019)
• Prima Insurance – Chair, Risk and Control Committee (since 2018)

He is also a former member of the New York Stock Exchange.

David Miller holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
