Dr. Corinna Lathan is a keynote speaker, technnology entrepreneur, and inventor with over 30 U.S. and international patents. She is the author of th best-selling book, Inventing the Future, Stories from a Techno-Optimist. She co-founded AnthroTronix, a tech innovation firm, and led it as CEO for 22 years. Dr. Lathan serves on multiple boards and committees, and is an Independent Director of PTC, Inc., a global technology provider of CAD and PLM platforms, and an Independent Director of Ekso Bionics, a pioneer in the field of robotic exoskeletons, or wearable robots. Dr. Lathan is also a leader and public speaker on technology trends that impact business, health and healthcare, education and entrepreneurship. She is a social advocate for STEAM (Science, technology, engineering, art & design, mathematics) education, global health, and LGBTQ+ issues, and serves on several not-for-profit boards including the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation, the KID Museum, Global Action to End Smoking, and Engineers Without Borders. Dr. Lathan received a B.A. from Swarthmore College in Biopsychology and Mathematics and then went on to earn an M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics and Ph.D. in Neuroscience from MIT.
