Charisse R. Lillie is CEO of CRL Consulting LLC, focused on offering advice to corporations and nonprofits on issues of corporate governance and diversity and inclusion. She practiced law for 28 years before joining Comcast Corp. in 2005. She retired from Comcast in 2017. During her tenure at Comcast, she served as senior VP of Human Resources, president of the Comcast Foundation, and VP of Community Investment. Lillie was a partner in the law firm of Ballard Spahr from 1992 to 2005, as well as chair of the Litigation Department from 2002 to 2005. Her legal experience has included positions such as trial attorney, USODJ, Civil Rights Division; assistant US attorney, Eastern District of PA; and city solicitor of the City of Philadelphia. She is a member of The ELC. Lillie is the recipient of numerous awards, including the A. Leon Higginbotham Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award, received during the 29th Pennsylvania Bar Association Minority Attorney Conference in 2018. Lillie previously served as chairman of the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. She is a member of the boards of Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co.; PECO, an Exelon Company; Independence Health Group Inc.; and the Regional Advisory Board of PNC Bank. The Houston, Texas, native received her BA in 1973 from Wesleyan University, cum laude; her JD in 1976 from Temple Beasley School of Law; and her LLM in 1982 from Yale Law School.
