About The Event

July 15, 2026 | Virtual

A high-performing chief information security officer (CISO) is a key contributor to business operation, innovation, and risk-management strategy. Successful deployment of artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation, operational resilience, compliance, and third-party partnerships all depend on a foundation of cybersecurity.

Recent breaches, new regulatory actions, and the explosion of AI have profoundly raised the stakes of the CISO’s work, yet surveys consistently show that directors struggle with cybersecurity governance.

This session dove into how directors can close that gap by improving three key aspects of their engagement with the CISO:

  • Understanding the business risks that drive the CISO agenda today
  • Recognizing organizational structures that create systemic challenges for the CISO
  • Engaging with the CISO and key business leaders to support cybersecurity success
