The NACD Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Awards highlight forward-thinking boards that leverage the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion to enhance their governance, and create long-term value, and build innovative and inclusive workplaces and boardrooms.
Join NACD to celebrate the 2023 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Awards Gala at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center on the evening of Tuesday, October 10, and honor this year’s 20 finalists. The Gala will be hosted by Roshini Rajkumar, a C-suite advisor, crisis strategist, and host of The Crisis Files, and include remarks by NACD president and CEO Peter Gleason and Gala partner, Deloitte.
The Gala will recognize 20 company boards that have leveraged the power of DE&I to enhance their governance, create long-term value, and build innovative and inclusive workplaces and boardrooms. Awards will be given to five organizations, one in each of the award categories:
A reception will take place from 7:00–8:30 p.m. (EDT), followed by the dinner and awards program at 8:30 p.m. The evening will conclude at 10:00 p.m.
The dress code for the evening will be black tie.

Nominated boards will be assessed based on how the board's composition, culture, and practices align with the company's DE&I objectives; how the DE&I approaches impact the employees and external stakeholders; and how those initiatives benefit the company and its operations.
