On July 8, 2025, the NACD Heartland Chapter welcomed Brent Douglas, President of Magellan Executive Partners, for an engaging discussion on CEO succession planning as a critical board responsibility. Directors examined the importance of emergency preparedness, explored real-world examples of successful transitions, and gained practical tools to navigate leadership crises with clarity.
