About The Event
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Oklahoma City at Devon Energy for this morning’s NACD Heartland program. We are especially grateful to Devon Energy for generously hosting and to Matt Williamson, Founder and CEO of Clever, Inc., for leading such an insightful discussion.
As public directors, we have a responsibility to ensure our boards evolve with the pace of technology, regulation, and stakeholder expectations. Matt underscored the importance of championing digital literacy, ethical AI oversight, and resilience planning to guide organizations through change with confidence. His remarks reminded us that our role isn’t just governance—it’s stewardship of long-term trust and value creation.
We appreciate the thoughtful engagement from our members and guests, and we look forward to continuing these critical conversations in future programs.
