Hugo Carson is a Managing Director on Aon’s Growth and Distribution team, where he leads new business efforts across Health, Wealth, and Risk for the state of Florida. He is responsible for setting go-to-market strategies, building and leading high-performing sales.

Hugo joined Aon’s Southeast team in 2022 after leading Florida and the Carolinas for AIG’s property and casualty business, overseeing regional growth, profitability, and distribution strategy. Earlier in his career, he held roles in Chicago and São Paulo, where he built and managed AIG’s credit solutions business and served as executive contact for Fortune 500 clients, structuring and underwriting multinational credit programs; his expertise includes leadership and team building, profitable market share growth, P&L management, strategic planning, cross-border negotiation, and execution of complex growth strategies.
