Profile - Robert Kress Robert Kress Managing Director Accenture Security Robert (Bob) Kress is a managing director and the global quality and risk officer for Accenture Security. Kress is also responsible for Accenture Security’s offerings to boards of directors, and he is the Midwest Region Security lead, as well. Kress has also served as the managing director of Global IT Audit in Accenture’s Internal Audit organization and as the COO of Accenture’s Internal IT organization. Previously, Kress worked in Accenture’s Management Consulting and Software Products organizations. He has published two books: Running IT Like a Business(2009) and IT Governance to Drive High Performance (2010). His most recently published articles are “Digitizing Internal Audit,” “Analytics Transforming Internal Audit for a Digital Future,” and “Innovation in Continuous Risk Assessment.” Kress chairs the board of i.c.stars and the advisory board for the College of Engineering at the University of Iowa. He cochairs the technology committee of The Executives Club of Chicago.
Profile - Vik Desai Vik Desai Managing Director Accenture Security Vikram (Vik) Desai is global managing director of Accenture Security and global lead of Accenture Security’s Products Operating Group, which focuses on the creation and delivery of comprehensive solutions that accelerate business operations while mitigating cyber risk for clients within five industry groups: health and life sciences, consumer goods and services, retail, automotive and industrial equipment, and transportation and travel services. Desai has more than 25 years of executive experience, with recognized expertise in cybersecurity, data analytics, IT infrastructure, application networking, communications, and managed services. Prior to joining Accenture, Desai served as CEO/chief Operating Officer or president of several technology pioneers, including Radware, Kavado, Liquid Computing, and Global Crossing.
