What Makes a Great Board Chair? The Art of Effective Leadership
Because an effective chair doesn't just manage the meeting. They elevate the board.
What separates a board chair from a truly exceptional one? It's more than running an efficient meeting. It's knowing how to balance the priorities of the CEO with the responsibilities of the board, draw out diverse perspectives, navigate disagreement, empower smarter collaboration, and ensure valuable board time is spent on the issues that matter most.
Join us for a candid roundtable exploring the practical challenges and nuances of effective board leadership. We'll discuss how great chairs foster productive dialogue and encourage constructive dissent, all while navigating complex boardroom dynamics and ensuring their boards serve as effective stewards of stakeholder accountability.
The session will begin with brief insights from an FTI Consulting expert, followed by facilitated peer discussions where attendees can exchange experiences, share lessons learned, and explore what works (and what doesn't) in the boardroom.
Our roundtable dinner attendance is limited to ensure a robust director to director discussion.
