About The Event
Artificial intelligence (AI) was a transformational technology with the potential to produce both significant value and harm for businesses and their stakeholders.
With advances occurring rapidly amid widespread attention, it was difficult for companies to cut through the hype to understand whether and how this technology could positively impact their businesses.
The discussion explored whether boards fully understood both the risks and opportunities of AI, whether their knowledge of AI’s business applications was sufficient to assess management’s plans to harness the technology, and how AI could provide a competitive advantage. It also addressed how reckless adoption of AI could jeopardize an organization’s brand integrity.
The event featured an interactive discussion on navigating the strategic opportunities and challenges presented by enterprise AI integration and implementation, with an emphasis on corporate governance in the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence.
The discussion covered the following topics:
- How AI could be leveraged to enhance strategic decision-making and competitive advantage.
- Critical risk management strategies for mitigating AI-related ethical and regulatory challenges.
- What boards could do to ensure responsible governance of AI technologies to maximize stakeholder trust and value.
