On August 5, 2025, NACD Carolinas Chapter hosted a curated dinner event in Charleston, bringing together board directors and governance professionals to reflect on today's top comensation committee challenges. The event fostered robust peer-to-peer learning and networking.

Industry experts from Pay Governance lead the discussion and provide insights on how companies fared on Say on Pay, and what changes were made on incentives. They discussed some current issues companies are struggling with, including the impact of tariffs on incentive plan goals, balancing performance and investor expectations and other real-time issues compensation committees are facing.

Attendees enjoyed sharing perspectives and experiences from across the region and left with actionable takeaways and a deeper understanding of the evolving governance landscape.
