In Person | September 25, 2025 | 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM CDT | Austin, TX
On September 25 in Austin, we brought together directors and experts for a highly interactive program on governance and board leadership. The session opened with a panel discussion, where facilitators highlighted key themes including board succession planning, the role of compensation in supporting good governance, intentional renewal and development in the nonprofit sector, and the broader market dynamics and oversight expectations shaping today’s boards.
Following the panel, participants rotated through small-group roundtables led by Heather O’Keefe of Egon Zehnder, Tom McNeill of Meridian Compensation Partners, and Robert Davis of GHD. These conversations gave attendees the opportunity to expand on panel topics, compare perspectives with peers, and gather practical tools for strengthening board effectiveness.
Directors left with a deeper understanding of how boards can proactively respond to evolving risks, engage stakeholders with greater impact, and sharpen decision-making at the table. Events like these not only equip directors with actionable insights, but also strengthen the director community across industries.
