NACD Texas TriCities Chapter board member, Julie Robertson and topic experts Dave Pruner of Heidrick & Struggles and Travis Wofford of Baker Botts led a peer to peer discussion focused on best practices for finding a board seat as well as serving on your first board. They explored what you need to know in order to be an effective director, from understanding the legal, regulatory and governance framework to building productive relationships with fellow directors and management and navigating challenging situations in the boardroom.
