About The Event
Virtual | Oct. 6, 2026 | 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM CDT
Attendees gained practical insights to help them maximize their NACD Directors Summit experience before arriving on-site. The discussion highlighted key Summit sessions and speakers with connections to the Texas TriCities Chapter, helping participants identify programming most relevant to their interests and governance priorities. Attendees also learned how to navigate the Summit app, build personalized schedules, and take advantage of networking opportunities throughout the event.
Seasoned Summit participants shared lessons learned and recommendations for making the most of the week, from planning their time effectively to engaging with fellow directors, governance professionals, and industry leaders. The session also increased awareness of chapter-specific activities taking place during Summit and helped attendees understand how to leverage those opportunities to deepen relationships within the NACD community. Through a guided discussion and Q&A, participants left with a clearer understanding of what to expect, how to prepare, and how to approach the event with greater confidence and purpose.
