Teresa Sebastian is a board member of The AES Corporation (chair, nominating and governance committee), and Kaiser Aluminum Corporation. She has been a part of executive management teams and led the legal activities at Darden Restaurants during a contentious shareholder activism proxy contest and the divestiture of a $2.1 billion business unit, and led the global strategic expansion at Veyance Technologies through multiple tuck-in M&A transactions. Sebastian was named to the NACD Directorship 100™ (2023) and holds the NACD Directorship Certification®. Women Inc. magazine named her a Most Influential Corporate Board Director (2019) and Directors & Boards named her one of the Directors to Watch. Global M&A Network recognized her with the M&A Atlas Award–Deal of the Year for Darden Restaurant’s acquisition of Yard House (2012). Teresa is also an adjunct faculty and lectures on risk management and corporate governance and compliance at the University of Michigan Law School.
