Sandra joined Scoular in September of 2022, bringing 25 years of experience in managing domestic and global food and agricultural businesses, supply chain operations, and procurement. In her current role, Sandra leads Scoular’s Oilseeds & Specialty Ingredients Division, which includes, Oilseed Crush, Vegetable & Alternatives, Food Innovation, Flax, and Feed Nutrition. 

Prior to Scoular, Sandra held a 12-year tenure with Conagra Brands as a Global Procurement and Supply Chain Executive, managing billions of dollars of annual ingredient and packaging raw material spend as well as Indirect business operation procurement.   Sandra stood up Conagra Brand’s Risk Management Program, inclusive of instituting multiple commodity and packaging financial and physical assets.  Sandra has extensive experience implementing corporate risk strategies and actively managing a portfolio of futures, swaps, and advanced option strategies targeted at mitigating commodity exposure.

Sandra’s earlier career consisted of a successful 10-year tenure with Archer Daniels Midland. In that time, she led the North American snack food, bakery, foodservice and retail segment for ADM’s refined oil division.  The role also included the management of multiple vegetable oil refineries.  Sandra also led the company’s global protein desk which included developing and executing numerous physical and financial trading strategies, negotiating complex, high-value agreements, and managing the overall risk for the overall business segment. 

Sandra is passionate about bringing excellence to every facet of a business.  She thrives where there are opportunities to grow organizations while using exceptional communication and leadership skills to disseminate vision, execute plans, and manage global teams.  She leverages deep industry knowledge and experience to create strategic alliances with organization leaders and effectively align with and support key business initiatives.

PERSONAL
 
Sandra and her husband Shawn have 2 sons, Jace (15) and Briggs (12).  They currently reside in the greater Omaha area and share a deep commitment and passion for supporting and serving their local community.
