Paula R. Meyer has worked in a variety of roles within the investment management industry, most recently serving as president of RiverSource Funds, the proprietary fund complex of Ameriprise Financial Inc., from 1998 to 2006. Meyer currently serves as a director for the mutual insurance company, Mutual of Omaha (chair, talent committee), and a public company, Diamond Hill Investment Group (chair, nominating and governance committee). She retired from the board of directors of First Command Financial Services Inc. at the end of 2024. She also served as a director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines from 2007 to 2016 and served on the Investment Company Institute's Board of Governors from 2000 to 2006. Meyer is a National Association of Corporate Directors Board Leadership Fellow and holds the CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight from the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.
