Michael Sabbatis

Chair, Caseware; Director, Iris Software Group

Michael Sabbatis is a seasoned executive and board leader with over four decades of experience in software technology with a focus on the audit, accounting, and tax-software industry. He currently serves as board chair at Caseware International, a global provider of cloud-enabled audit, financial reporting, and data-analytics solutions. In this role, he guides the strategic direction of the board, aligning the company’s business and shareholder initiatives. In addition, he serves on the North American board of Iris Software Group. Both companies are private-equity backed.

Prior to his current position, Sabbatis was the CEO of XCM Solutions, a high-growth software-as-a-service workflow automation company. Under his leadership, XCM Solutions experienced significant growth, culminating in its acquisition by Wolters Kluwer in 2020. His previous roles include chief revenue officer at RealPage and CEO of Wolters Kluwer North America. Additionally, he has held several board positions in companies specializing in document management, operational risk, and internal audit. In addition, he served on the advisory panel for the AICPA Startup Accelerator.
