Matt Saner is a global security leader at AWS, helping their largest and most complex enterprise customers transform security challenges into strategic business advantages. Leading a team of security specialists, he enables organizations to achieve both rapid innovation and robust security postures.

With the emergence of generative AI, Saner has helped drive secure adoption across AWS and for the broader industry. He serves on the project governing board and executive steering committee for the Coalition for Secure AI (CoSAI), is a distinguished review board member for the Open Worldwide Application Security Project's (OWASP) GenAI and agentic AI security projects, as well as a NIST contributor.

Prior to joining AWS in 2021, Saner spent nearly two decades in the highly regulated financial services sector. He has served for over a decade on both his community school board and town park board.
