Linda Fonner is a strategic, growth-focused executive currently serving as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at C.F. Martin Guitar Company, a legacy American manufacturer known globally for its craftsmanship and musical heritage. In this role, she leads all aspects of finance, risk management, strategic planning, and transformation initiatives for a company deeply rooted in family ownership and values—a background that complements her expertise in privately held, family-run, and ESOP organizations.
A CPA and qualified financial expert, Linda brings more than 25 years of experience in global finance, manufacturing, and audit. She has held executive roles across diverse sectors, including optical components, industrial chemicals, biopharma distribution, medical devices, refractory manufacturing, and financial services. She is recognized for driving EBITDA growth, leading organizational change, managing risk, and building agile teams in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
Her previous C-suite roles include Chief Financial Officer of Edmund Optics, a privately held global optics manufacturer ($230–500M revenue), and CFO of Phillips & Cohen Associates, a multinational financial services firm. Linda also served as Chief Audit Executive at West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: WST), a global medical device company, where she supported the Audit Committee and board for six years during a period of international expansion.
Linda's board experience includes serving on the Audit Committee at HashWatt, Inc., a Bitcoin mining company, and advisory roles with Sioux Steel Company and TrainedArrow. She is known for her international leadership, having lived and worked in Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, and Africa, with a proven ability to align cross-border operations with strategic goals.
