Kim Rucker

Director, Celanese Corp., GE Vernova, HP Inc, Marathon Petroleum Corporation, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Haven for Hope

Kim Rucker is an accomplished executive, holding senior leadership positions since 2018. She is currently on the Board of Directors of Celanese Corporation, a global specialty and materials company; Marathon Petroleum Corporation, a U.S. refining, marketing, and midstream company; and HP Inc., an information technology company. She is also a member of the board of trustees of Johns Hopkins Medicine, which includes Baltimore’s Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins International. Kim also serves on the Board of Directors of Haven for Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of homeless individuals in San Antonio, Texas. Kim has numerous recognitions and awards for her achievements, to include the recipient of the Sandra Day O’Connor Board Excellence Award presented by the DirectWomen Board Institute. She is a sought-after speaker on a variety of topics including leadership, culture, corporate governance, corporate reputation and managing for value. She has authored many articles, a book chapter and is noted in several publications. Kim is a certified Diligent Climate Leader, holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a master’s in public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. She was raised in the Chicago area, and lives in San Antonio with her husband and two children.
