Kent S. Johnson has served as chief executive officer of Highlights for Children for more than 20 years and is a passionate advocate for children, especially in their earliest years. Johnson is the great-grandson of the company’s founders and is proud to lead a purpose-driven, family-owned enterprise.

Johnson earned his bachelor’s degree and graduate degrees in physics and worked in biotech and medical diagnostics before joining Highlights. He lives in Columbus, Ohio, and has two grown sons.
