Kathleen Lehman Hajek serves as the North American Business Sector Leader, Life Sciences and Healthcare, based in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is part of the Mid-Atlantic Team, with offices in Baltimore, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. She also leads the Medical Services Subsector globally.

Kathleen has over 20 years of experience in executive search, recruiting C-Suite and senior executive leaders, as well as board members for healthcare services organizations, health plans, nonprofits, research institutions, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies. As an executive leadership consultant, Kathleen has led over 500 engagements for senior executives and board directors.

Prior to Stanton Chase, Kathleen held leadership positions with firms including a boutique executive search firm specializing in healthcare and a top five global executive search firm. She launched her career as Manager of Recruiting with Deloitte, where she helped expand the firm’s healthcare and technology practices. She has also driven cross-functional collaboration, improved global communications, promoted best practices and cultivated an expansive network of C-Suite and Board Relationships. 

Kathleen is active with National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). She supports Director Development Initiatives and Programs to increase diversity on corporate boards, enabling companies and organizations to benefit from a broader array of perspectives. Kathleen served as Vice Chair on the Board of JusticeMatters 2019-2024 and as a Board Member for the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park from 2010-2015.

Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan and studied abroad at the Universidad de Sevilla in Spain.
