Karin Riechenberg is Director of Stewardship at Sands Capital Management. Her role includes leading the stewardship team, working with the investment team to assess material ESG risks and opportunities across strategies, as well as driving Sands’ active ownership approach through engagement with portfolio companies and external stakeholders. She previously worked at Cartica Management, where she held various positions related to corporate governance and macro strategy. Riechenberg holds an MA in International Relations and Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
