Jerry Blanchard is the President and CEO of Risk Management Associates, Inc., operating as Protus3. With over three decades of experience in security management, system design, loss prevention, and investigation, Jerry is a seasoned expert in the field. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from North Carolina Wesleyan College and is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), board-certified in security management.

Jerry is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American Society of Industrial Security, the National Fire Protection Association, and the Illumination Engineering Society of North America.

His extensive training encompasses military instruction in infantry tactics, airborne operations, and special operations, alongside specialized training in security management, systems management, investigation, and loss prevention. Jerry's expertise spans security master planning, system designs, smart card solutions, digital video and video analytics solutions, and IP-based networks and communication systems.

Jerry began his career in the United States Army, serving in a special operations unit. He transitioned into the private sector, holding key security roles at Northern Telecom and Crown Crafts, Inc. Since joining Protus3 in 1995, Jerry has held various leadership positions, culminating in his appointment as CEO in 2012. He leads a team of talented security industry leaders and practitioners, guiding clients through a wide range of security incidents and issues related to management, operations, technology, and investigations.

In addition to his role at Protus3, Jerry has served as Chairman of the Board of Risk Management Associates since 2019, steering the company through its rich thirty-seven-year history. He also serves on the board of CONSULT, a prestigious technical security symposium dedicated to security consultants, architects, and engineers specializing in security electronic systems and physical security.
