Jeff Plagge has over 47 years of experience in banking and financial services. He served as Iowa Superintendent of Banking from 2019 to 2023 and was previously President and CEO of Northwest Financial Corp., a $2.9 billion financial services holding company. His previous leadership includes the role of president & CEO at First National Bank of Waverly and Midwest Heritage Bank. Jeff is a former board member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and has chaired multiple industry groups, including the American Bankers Association, The Iowa Bankers Association, and the Clearing House Faster Payments Task Force. He currently serves on several financial boards, including Northwest Financial Corp., Northwest Bank, American Bankers Mutual Insurance, Farmer Mac, and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines. Plagge is also a Managing Director at Barnes & Co. A native of Latimer, Iowa, Jeff holds a degree in Agricultural Business from Iowa State University.
