Jed Repko advises public and private companies on high-impact communications across the full spectrum of investor relations and special situations, including initial public offerings (IPOs), mergers and acquisitions, and other leadership transitions, shareholder activism, employee and social issues, and crisis preparedness. His work often involves guiding clients through proxy fights and behind-the-scenes shareholder agitation as well as building long-term communications strategies that support ongoing Investor Relations and corporate reputation.,

Repko also serves on the board of McSweeney’s Literary Arts Fund, a nonprofit publishing company based in San Francisco.

As cohead of Joele Frank’s San Francisco office, Repko brings deep experience in technology, software, and health care, with a nuanced understanding of the dynamics at play in these industries. He is a steady partner to management teams navigating cyber incidents, sensitive internal matters, and the evolving expectations of investors and employees. A few recent career highlights include supporting Lululemon in its proxy fight with founder Chip Wilson, working with Dayforce on its acquisition by Thoma Bravo, supporting Navan on its successful IPO, and supporting Teleflex through multiple transactions, a leadership transition, and activism defense against Irenic Capital Management.

Repko joined Joele Frank with more than seven years of financial advisory experience in corporate bankruptcy and restructuring. He was previously a vice president at AlixPartners and an analyst at Kroll Zolfo Cooper (restructured as Zolfo Cooper, later acquired by AlixPartners). Repko received a Bachelor of Arts in art history with a minor in philosophy from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME.
