Greg Stoeckel is a managing director and consulting team leader at Pearl Meyer. In his management role, he oversees a team of senior compensation consultants in the execution of the firm’s growth strategy and in the development of consultants at various stages in their careers. In his consulting role, Stoeckel is a senior advisor to compensation committees and executives on all aspects of executive and non-employee director compensation.
Stoeckel is well versed in areas such as business strategy, performance metrics, corporate governance (including institutional shareholder perspectives), accounting, tax, and SEC disclosure. He has worked with companies in various industries, of various sizes, and at virtually all life-cycle stages ranging from venture-backed, pre-IPO start-ups to established industry leaders. Some of his current clients include Dollar General, Darden Restaurants, Tractor Supply Company, and Hilton Grand Vacations.
Stoeckel is a frequent contributor to the firm’s intellectual capital and a frequent speaker on executive compensation to regional and national audiences. He is a Certified Equity Professional (CEP) and a member of various professional organizations including WorldatWork.
