Atlanta Office Managing Partner | EY

Moderator: Glenn is the Managing Partner of the Atlanta office of Ernst & Young LLP, a US Member firm of the global EY organization. Glenn also serves on behalf of the Firm as the Market Segment Leader for the states of Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee, and as an audit partner in the Southeast Region Assurance practice. Glenn oversees more than 2,400 professionals in the Atlanta office, across EY’s service lines of Tax, Advisory, Assurance and Transaction Advisory, and is strongly connected to the approximately 1,500 Technology and Advisory professionals in the EY Alpharetta, Georgia office. Glenn is responsible for EY’s efforts in the Atlanta business and civic communities and is responsible for the internal community of more than 3,900 EY professionals who live in the metropolitan Atlanta area. One of Glenn’s responsibilities is to help EY’s people understand their role in achieving the Firm’s purpose of building a better working world by equipping them with the resources and insights needed to provide exceptional service to their clients and give back to the community. Glenn moved back to Atlanta to assume the Atlanta Managing Partner role effective July 1, 2015, having previously served as the EY Office Managing Partner in Memphis, Tennessee from 2012 to 2015. Glenn is in his 27th year with EY of providing professional services to Fortune 1,000 and high-growth organizations, with a focus on the financial statement audit of technology, software, life sciences, real estate and distribution companies. Working closely with entrepreneurial and large international companies, he provides services associated with financial statement audits, adoption and audit of Section 404, mergers and acquisitions, private equity offerings, public equity offerings, and public debt offerings. Since returning to Atlanta with his family July 2015, Glenn has joined the board of Directors for the United Way of Greater Atlanta, the Board of Governors and Board of Directors of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, the Atlanta Friendship Initiative, the Board of Trustees of the Woodruff Arts Center, Board of Central Atlanta Progress, the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) Board of Directors and is co-chair of the MAC Educated Workforce Council. Glenn is a member of the Rotary Club of Atlanta and is a member of the membership committee. Glenn serves on the Board of Trustees of the Morehouse School of Medicine and is the chair of the audit committee and a member of the finance committee. He is also a member of the Holy Innocents Episcopal School audit committee. Glenn previously served on the boards of ArtsMemphis, Christian Brothers University, and the Atlanta Ballet. Glenn received a B.B.A. in accounting from Auburn University in 1993 and is a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and Tennessee. Glenn grew up in metro Atlanta.
