

Emily Liggett

Throughout her twenty-five years as a corporate director, Emily has served on 16 public, private, and non-profit boards. She is currently the lead independent director of UltraClean Technologies, board chair of the Decagon Institute, and also serves as a director of Materion Corp and King Philanthropies.
Trained as an engineer, her career has been in technology-based companies in operating, leadership, and CEO roles in materials, technology, and energy companies. She has lived and worked in North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia and is committed to innovation and sustainability.
Emily is active in the Northern California NACD chapter and leads the ESG cohort. She teaches a course on Leading from the Boardroom; Principles and Practices of Corporate Governance at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She was named to NACD Directorship 100 in 2023, an annual list of leading corporate directors.
